Lake on Fire je Stoner/Doom/Psych rockový festival, který se koná ve městě Waldhausen Im Strudengau (Rakousko).
Ročník 2023 se cíleně rozhodly neuskutečnit, aby nabrali energii na daší roky.

Dear Lake on Fire Family,
Today we have a bittersweet announcement to share. After nine unforgettable festivals, the organization Saitwärts, behind the Lake on Fire Festival, will be officially dissolved at the end of this year. This wasn't an easy decision, but it feels like the right moment to close this chapter with gratitude, pride, and a full heart. We want to thank all visitors, bands, volunteers, and every company and partner who supported us throughout this incredible journey. You made Lake on Fire what it was, a festival born from passion, carried by community, and kept alive by the love for music and togetherness. A very special thank you goes to the Hader family. Thank you for trusting a small group of dreamers who walked up to Gottfried in 2011 with a bold, almost naive idea: "Can we use your lake stage for a festival?" He was worried that many 'wild' people might come and damage his property, yet he trusted us anyway. Your trust made everything possible. Our first festival in 2012 marked the beginning of something truly special. To our audience, you were the best crowd we could ever wish for. Over the years, we never faced major problems, because you cared for each other, for the place, and for the spirit of the event. You made organizing this festival a joy, not a burden. Thank you for showing what a respectful, mindful, and passionate community can look like. We also want to thank all the neighbors in the village who never put a stone in our way and always supported the festival.
A huge thank you goes to all the volunteers who helped in the bar, kitchen, camping area, and backstage. Thank you to all the companies that collaborated with us and to all the clubs and associations that supported us over the years.
One of the things we are most proud of is our charity work. Over the past decade, together with you, we were able to donate around €100,000 to various charity projects. This year, as part of closing Saitwärts, we donated 100% of the remaining funds to the following organizations: Rotes Kreuz / SOMA (Sozialmarkt), Freiwillige Feuerwehr Waldhausen, Förderzentrum Waldhausen, HOSI Linz, Nimmer Allein, Arbin meets Afrika, Arche Herzensbrücken, Autonomes Frauenzentrum Linz, Himmelshafen, Integrationshaus Wien, Seelenpflaster, Naturschutzbund OÖ, Regenwald der Österreicher, Changes of Women, Lichtblickhof, and Mental Health Days. Each donation reflects the values we wanted Lake on Fire to stand for: solidarity, compassion, and community.
Thank you for nine festivals of magic, music, and memories. Even though Saitwärts is coming to an end, the spirit of Lake on Fire will always burn on in the stories, the friendships, the shared moments, and the beautiful community we built together.
